  1. ---- Installation and Use of the Chess Replay Program CHESSRP3 ----

  3. Installation:
  4.  Insert disk in your floppy drive and switch DOS to point to it as it's
  5.  primary drive with command:
  6.             A:     ( or perhaps B: )
  7.  
  8.  Issue command 'INSTALL x' to automate installation.
  9.  In place of 'x', enter the drive you wish program and files to install.
  10.  For example, 'INSTALL C' to have files installed on drive letter 'C'.
  11.  
  12.  By default, INSTALL.BAT creates a directory named CHESSRPL and copies
  13.  all files from disk to this directory.
  14.  
  15.  You may prefer to not use the INSTALL command, in which case you must
  16.  create a directory on your preferred drive and copy all files from disk
  17.  to the directory.
  18.  
  19.  It is highly recommended, that you keep the CHESSRPx programs in the same
  20.  directory in which you have your MOVEs files, because you will then be
  21.  able to use the built-in feature ( the '?' option ) to list 'on-line'
  22.  all the MOVEs file in your current directory.

  24.  It is also highly recommended that your make a copy of your installation
  25.  disk for back-up purposes.

  27. STARTING the program:

  29.  Make CHESSRPL your current directory with these commands:
  30.     c:
  31.     cd\CHESSRPL
  32.  Enter program name: CHESSRP3
  33.  
  34.  From MAIN MENU, enter '?' ( a Question mark ), this will give you a list
  35.  of games in directory CHESSRPL.
  36.  Key in the name of any of the SAMPLE games ( but leave off the .CHX ) and
  37.  you will be on your way.

  39. Option 'R' ( for RULES ) give you a few more details on how to get going,
  40. not many RULES to learn to run this program.

  42. If you have any problems with the floppy disk you were mailed, contact
  43.  your vendor for a replacement.

  45. If you purchased the REGISTERED version of program CHESSRP3 from the
  46.  author ( CHESSRPL, P.O. Box 9881, NEWPORT BEACH, CA. 92658-9881 ) and
  47.  regret your purchase, you may return the entire package for a refund.
